Supreme Commander 2-demo-

Postby happyhippie » Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:07 pm

The Supreme Commander 2 demo is now available for download on steam, and I must say after trying it, I wish i had never used the empty space for that trash. They took pretty much everything good about the first one and took it out. They made it more simplistic, and bland. And, perhaps its just me, but the graphics look worse than the first one (certainly not better). Good job gas powered, your really gonna stand a chance against starcraft.

I have to agree, they said, "we did not want to do what other companies do and just post a second game that is the first plus some things" but truth be told if they had I think ti would have done better!

I believe this is mainly due to trying to open to a larger market, i.e. Xbox. The original RTS they made was pretty awesome for a die hard, but had a small following.

It is not as good as the first but I do enjoy it better than C&C4 so I will play it through, enjoy some MULTI while its the hot item, and then switch to Star Craft 2 or something.

If you do end up getting it give me a ring for some Multi or Comp Stomps. Or if you can handle it some large FFA, my favorite!

Simpler than first with building defences graphics are somewhat improved. Not worth $50,$20 would be good for this game. I personally really suck at Sup Com hope I'm better at Sup Com 2, considering the fact it's more simplistic.
